Rental Conditions

  • The customer must read and sign the terms and conditions before the rental.
  • The terms and conditions mention the day, time, and place of delivery and collecting of the bicycle.
  • A valid ID (passport, driving license) must be shown when renting a bicycle.
  • The bicycles are delivered to the customer in perfect working condition.
  • Padlocks are provided free of charge with the rental.
  • We advise the customers to wear a helmet. However, any customer under the age of eighteen should always wear the helmet.
  • If the rental is made by a person under the age of 18, the contract must be signed by a parent or a legal representative.
  • It is required a 20€ deposit per bicycle, and it will be fully returned wenn you bring back the bicycle as long as no damage has been made.
  • The customer is responsible for any damage, theft or loss of the bike and accessories, from the moment the bikes are handed to the customers and untill they will return it to SeaHorse Bike Rental.
  • In case of theft or loss of the bicycle during the rental period, the client should immediately contact SeaHorse Bike Rental. The amount to pay will be set according the grade of the rented bicycle.
  • Loss or theft of the bike: City Bike 245.00€ /MTB 460.00€/ Junior 100.00€/ Tandem Bike 500.00€.
  • The deterioration, loss, theft is not a motive for suspension of the contract at the customer`s initiative. Continuing the rental to be billed according to the contracted conditions.
  • The customer will be held responsible for any damage caused to the rented material and shall indemnify SeaHorse Bike Rental in the amount necessary for full recovery.
  • All required SeaHorse Bike Rental interventions will be charge to the customer.
  • Free travel assistance (travel to the place and any assistance) within a 5km radius of the rental location. However, the costs for the damage material are the responsibility of the customer. Within a radius of 5km to 30 km from the place of the rental assistance on the trip, will cost to the customer 1€ per km driven. Within a radius of more than 30km from the location of the rental, the customer must contact SeaHorse Bike Rental to find a repair point nearest to the customer, which should be moved to the customer by his own means and costs. Travel assistance runs between from 9am until 5pm from Monday to Saturday.
  • The customer must not lend/give the bicycle to another person who isn’t authorizes by SeaHorse Bike Rental. This is not permitted. In any case, the customer is responsible as written in the contract and also for the outstanding fees.
  • When the return of the bike is delayed, SeaHorse Bike Rental has the right to charge 1€ per hour of delay. After 24 hours of non-return of the rented bicycle it will be reported to the police for theft.
  • When booking the bicycle (s), accessory (s) or tours we will ask for 20% deposit of the total value.
  • If there is a cancellation of the reservation, no cancellation fee will be charged with a period of more than 72 hours before the start of the rental or activity.
  • Any cancelation with a period less of 72 hours before the start of the reservation, the amount will be in favor of SeaHorse Bike Rental.
  • The rental of the bicycle to the client includes a personal insurance policy nº 1000300620 and a third party liability insurance policy nº 95/249934 in the company Liberty Seguros.
  • SeaHorse Bike Rental is not responsible for any accidents that occur by managing the bicycle in incorrect way.
  • SeaHorse Bike Rental advise all customers to respect the traffic signs.
  • SeaHorse Bike Rental is not responsible for any health problems that occur during or after the rental.
